CQUniversity
CQU Global Inbound Exchange Program - Rockhampton Campus

The CQUGlobal Inbound Exchange Program is exclusively for students studying at our global network of partner institutions and students studying at institutions belonging to the International Student Exchange Programs (ISEP) network.

Through this program you can study at CQUniversity for a term or full academic year and we will not charge you any tuition fees. You will gain credit for the courses you study and subject to your home institutions approval; you can transfer these credits back towards your program of study at home.

Demand for this course is high and places are limited so apply early to avoid disappointment. To apply you must be a current student at one of our exchange partner institutions.
*The CQUGlobal Inbound program is for students coming for a short period, term or academic year only.*

Rockhampton Campus

The city lies on the Tropic of Capricorn, 633km north along National Highway 1 from the Queensland State capital, Brisbane. Principal rail and air routes, developed to support Central Queensland's agricultural and mining exports, make Rockhampton readily accessible from within Australia and from Asia.

Rockhampton has a resident population of only 60 000 and is compact and easy to get around, but has the businesses and services to supply the region's 180 000 people.

Nearby beachside communities at Yeppoon and Emu Park, a short drive away by car or public bus service, are popular with commuters and students. The nearby islands of the Great Barrier Reef, and a sub-tropical climate with summer rains and mild sunny winters, attract tourists from Europe, Asia and southern Australia.

 Cost & Funding
You will not need to pay CQUniversity tuition fees for academic programs while you study with us (limited to two terms of study). Stockton students will need to pay tuition and fees at home, and only housing and meals at CQU. Of course, there are other expenses that you will incur as part of studying in another country such as travel, food, entertainment and accommodation. We recommend that you talk to an adviser at your home institution to get a clear understanding of what is considered as extra costs associated with studying overseas so that you can plan your budget ahead.

Inbound Exchange program academic tuition fee = 0*
*This covers up to 4 courses per a term or 8 courses in an academic year.

 Living in Australia
Australia is a safe and modern country, with cities regularly ranked among the best in the world to live and study in. The cities offer vibrancy, cultural diversity, and a generally fast-paced lifestyle. Outside the cities, you can experience a more laid-back environment with a diverse range of outdoor activities and natural landscapes to enjoy.

One of the best things about studying at CQUniversity is our vast presence with campuses and study centres across Australia. This means you will have ample options to choose the study environment of your preference as well as the opportunity to transfer credits across campuses and see more of what this country has to offer.A range of student support activities are also in place on every campus to help you get the most out of your time in Australia.
